Ha desarrollado su investigación en áreas relacionadas a la Inmunología Molecular Sus principales temas de investigación se han focalizado en el desarrollo
de métodos inmunoprofilácticos e inmunoterapéuticos para la Tuberculosis, y en el estudio de la interacción entre antígenos patogénicos y el sistema inmune.
Sus resultados comprenden la identificación de nuevos ligandos específicos contra diferentes targets de patógenos.
